The Madhya Pradesh High Court Indore Bench directed the Maharaja Yashwantrao Hospital striking junior doctors to forthwith report for duty.

The medicos agitation, which got underway on Saturday, was declared illegal by a division bench hearing a public interest petition submitted by the city-based Anand Trust. The plea alleged that 137 patients died during the previous strike.

The Court also directed issuance of a notice to the doctors not to go on strike time and again.
