8/6/2012
6.8.2012 (UNI) One of life's most important pledges just got smoother to execute with the launch of 'Making a Will Made Easy' by well known advocate V K Verma.
The nonchalance and 'concept of brevity' used by the author in ensuring the common man's need for clarity while making a will marks the high point of the book, which was released by Odisha Governor M C Bhandare last evening.
Dwelling on the subject the author said the book offers complete support for discharging one's social and legal obligations effectively in drafting, making or writing a Will.
'The sole mission is to ensure complete satisfaction to the readers and eradicate all confusions related to the subject,' he said, adding a Will is an important document that enables an individual to rightfully leave his assets and wealth to whomsoever he chooses.
Utmost care has been taken to see that all requirements for making the document authentic have been carefully mentioned in the book, so that no doubts remain in the mind of the reader while making a Will, Mr Verma added.
Despite being a rewrite of his earlier book published in late 1990s, albeit with updates, the book is able to convey in clear terms what exactly a Will should be like, what are the essential parameters in drafting it, how is it effective and most importantly, how it stands against the test of legal trials.
While imparting full knowledge and assistance in preparing an authentic and effective Will, the book lays down guidelines and instructions, in simple terms and easy language, to stress on making a formidable document that stands the test of time.
And most importantly, with applicable relative judgements from Supreme Court and High Courts to elucidate its emphasis in framing the Will, the book is bound to leave a passionate impression on its readers and make life easier for a layman in drafting his Will. UNI
