Taj Heritage Corridor case: Mayawati says PIL politically motivated
2/19/2010

The division bench of Allahabad High Court took on record the replies of Chief Minister Mayawati, central government and CBI in connection with the multi-crore Taj Heritage Corridor (THC) case.

The division bench comprising Justices Pradeep Kant and Sabibul Hasnain also fixed March 18 as the next date of hearing in the case.

In her reply submitted through her counsel Satish Chandra Mishra, Ms Mayawati demanded rejection of the PIL it being politically motivated.

The petitioner, Anupam Singh and others, had said giving relief to Ms Mayawati and her cabinet colleague Nasimuddin Siddique in the THC case due to non grant of prosecution permission was wrong.
